The Medtronic Caprosyn™ Monofilament Absorbable Sutures are prepared from a synthetic polyester Polyglytone 6211. They are designed for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, excluding cardiovascular or neurological surgery, microsurgery, and ophthalmic surgery.
