The Doran Remote Indicator Scale is a medical device designed to accurately measure a patient's weight and calculate their Body Mass Index (BMI). The scale is suitable for use in a variety of clinical settings, including medical and dental offices, hospitals, and health clinics.

- Touchless Start feature acquires a patient's weight in as little as two seconds without any buttons to press
- Weight Lock feature holds an accurate weight regardless of a patient's motion
- Reweight feature allows a second weight to be acquired while the patient remains on the platform
- Optional USB and RS-232 communications options for recording patient's weight and BMI value into a PC based Excel spreadsheet with the Excelerator software
